My wallet went dead this weekend. :(
Sheena and I went around the city yesterday.
We ate at Conti's Greenhills. Had Mango Bravo! I had been craving for this the whole week and I was really happy to have finally satisfied my craving. Ü
Then we went over to the mall to look around. I finally found dehumidifiers which I have been looking for for the longest time. This is a must-have in your car. Takes away the humid feeling inside. Ü
After which, we dropped by her ex-condo to claim her refund. Then went to the Fort coz there's a bazaar goin on. Didn't buy anything there though. Saw a pair of Citizens of Mankind jeans that fit me perfectly, but the seller didn't wanna go lower than Php1,600. I finally gave in, but when I asked if they accept credit card, she said that the price would go up by a hundred bucks if I pay using credit card. So, never mind.
After that, we headed over to Glorietta. I have been lookin for a really comfortable and nice pair of office shoes. but I always have complaints about the ones I tried on. We saw a gurl trying on a really nice pair of pumps inside VNC. Gaya gaya me tried on the same pair, and they not only looked really great, the fit is great too. Hooray for my new office pumps! Ü
B.I. Sheena (yes B.I. ka! :P) led me to this little store at Goldcrest where they sell True Religion jeans. They had on display a pair of skinny pants which Sheena persuaded me to try on. And what do you know, it fit rather nicely. Hehe So bili na naman!
Overall, I went home with a pair of True Religion skinnies, VNC pumps, a polka dot waist belt (the cinch kinda type), a black waist belt na naman, dehumidifiers for my car, and an empty wallet. Hehe
I swear, no more shopping!!!
Got this from Trina.
What a Woman Should Have. . .
... an old love she can imagine going back to, and one who reminds her how far she has come...
... enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own even if she never wants to or need to...
... something perfect to wear if the employer or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...
... a youth she's content to leave behind...
... a past juicy enough that she's looking forward retelling it in her old age...
... a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra...
... one friend who always makes her laugh, and one who lets her cry...
... a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family...
... eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal that will make her guests feel honored...
... a feeling of control over her destiny...
What every woman should know...
...how to fall in love without losing herself...
... how to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship...
... and when to try harder, and when to walk away...
... that she can't change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents...
... that her childhood may not have been perfect, but it's over...
... what she would and wouldn't do for love or more...
... how to live alone, even if she doesn't like it...
... whom she can trust, whom she can't, and why she shouldn't take it personally...
... where to go, be it her best friend's kitchen table, or a charming inn in the woods, when her soul needs soothing...
... what she can and can't accomplish in a day, a month, and a year...
