I didn't get the job at the Australian embassy.. Bummer..
Anyway, I had two interviews yesterday. One is with the Quadrillion Group of Companies as Communications/Events Officer and the other with Connect88. I got to 189 Corporate Business Center at 945am, 15 minutes earlier than the appointed schedule interview. We were asked to fill out an application form to be submitted. When I submitted mine, the receptionist asked for my resume. I didn't bring one with me and told her so. The gurl who called me didn't tell me to bring one naman e. She asked for my pic na lang but I didn't have one din.
Lesson learned: Always bring extra copies of resume.
After I was interviewed, the interviewer asked me if I can go back for another interview later that same day. Thinkin that my next interview is at 3pm, I agreed. She asked me to come back at 1pm. So I went to Glorietta first and walked around, took a cab back to Valero Street to meet up with my friend for lunch. Since 189 Corporate is also at Valero, I felt pretty kampante that I would make it in time. It had started raining when it was time to go back but I didn't mind coz I was thinkin it's just near.
Well, I got lost. Utterly lost. So lost that I had to take a cab because I was already wet and my pants are soakin at the legs portion. Turns out I made a right instead of a left, which took me to the opposite way. Tanga tlga..
I got to the place at around 110pm.. Waited until a little past 230pm before I got interviewed. The AVP for Sales and Marketing was funny, and I didn't feel any pressure at all. After the interview, he asked me if I can stay for another interview, this time with the President, but I told him I have to be somewhere at 3pm.
I hurriedly took a cab to Oakwood where my next interview is. Fast forward, I left the interview feeling cheated. I should have just ignored the interview and stayed at 189 Corporate for the next interview. Grr...

I AM SO PISSED!!!
I bought two naan and one milkyway from Bread Talk yesterday. They were supposed to be my breakfast and meriendas for today. I woke up, got myself ready for work, and went to the kitchen to heat the naan up. I searched everywhere for it but couldn't find it so I asked our maid if she has seen it.
She said: "Kinain ata ng daga e. Pag gising ko plastic na lang ang nakita ko sa sahig."
WHAT THE FUCK!?
First of all, the naans and milkyway each have separate plastics, then put into a larger plastic with handle bag. If they were REALLY eaten by the rats, then there would at least be remnants of plastics left right? But guess what, there was none.
Ang galing naman maglinis ng daga namin..
Second, all the other older bread were there and INTACT, plastics and all. They just had to eat the ones from Bread Talk, ALL THREE OF THEM!
Ang galing naman pumili ng daga namin..
Third, all THREE of my bread were ALL eaten by rats?
Ang takaw naman ng daga namin...
This can only lead to two conclusions..
Either our three maids ate my three bread from Bread Talk, or..
OUR RATS HAVE MANNERS!!!
I was in so bad a mood that I started noticing the littlest bit of things. Like I bought a box of brownies last Saturday to share with my family. This Tuesday, the maid said that she saw the box on the floor with the top open. Baka kinain daw ng daga. So we had no choice but to throw away the ONE remaining brownie in the box.
Nahiya pa kasi ang daga namin nagtira pa ng isa.
But then, I was lookin at the box this morning and hmm, I noticed that there weren't any teeth marks anywhere on the box that are normally left when rats eat our things.
May table manners talaga ang daga namin.
Moving on with this silly shit, my family and I went to Heaven & Eggs to eat the other night. It was so cute! The walls are painted with clouds and it feels like you're in heaven, and the chairs and tables are white. The waiters and waitresses are in light blue and khaki with wings clipped at their back! Ayos! The food was great din, steak was juicy and not like rubber, the pancakes had a sweet taste to it that I didn't get to use their selection of plain, coconut, lemon, and orange syrup and marmalade.
We saw Ryan and Geof Eigenman (tama ba spelling?) walk in in the middle of our meal. Geof looks tall in TV, I was surprised that he's actually not that tall. Shorter than me pa ata. Nyek. Ryan looked cute as usual. Hehe
I had my interview at the Australian Embassy yesterday. There were three people in the panel, one Australian guy and two Filipinas. It was kinda difficult to understand what the Australian were sayin sometimes because of the accent and the fact that he speaks softly (or was it just me who's deaf?), and I got the vibe that the other Filipina doesn't like me.. I was so busy tryin to understand what the Australian was sayin that I messed up my English. Kakahiya grabe. It didn't sound natural to my ears, what more to them? They will contact me daw on or before Friday if I get the position or not. I guess I'm not gettin my hopes in gettin it. I'll just chalk it up to experience na lang.
I'm gonna do walk-ins tomorrow with Carlo in Makati. And go to two more interviews on the same day. It was good that my schedule for the interviews is on Friday na rin so that I wouldn't be goin back and forth Makati the whole week. I'm just gonna keep my fingers crossed. I really want to have a job already and feel alive again.

I can't wait to watch Charlie and The Chocolate Factory! I saw it more than once as a kid, yes! as a kid!, and I can't forget the beautiful, mouthwatering garden inside the factory. Where else can you see a chocolate river? OR candies that you can just pick up from the floor?Ü
I watched the finale of The Next Joe Millionaire last night, and all I can say is it is literally screamin "scripted." He first talked to the gurl he didn't pick. He started with the whole "you are just so amazing" blah blah speech then proceeded to tell her that he didn't pick her. He should've stopped then and there but he went on to tell her that if ever she goes to Texas, she should visit him or sumthin. I mean, you just don't go visiting the man who ditched you on public television as if nuthin happened. And are you gonna be such a sadist to go there and see him with the gurl he picked over you? I don't think so..
I rolled my eyes when I heard him say "Whoever gets you is a lucky guy." This is the most gasgas line ever. I've heard various versions of this a number of times. "Any guy would kill to have you." Instead of makin me feel better, it just made me feel worse: more disheartened and angry. If whoever gets me is a lucky guy, then why won't you have me? If any guy would kill to have me, then why can't you even try and work things out with me? It's not as bad as killing anyway. Those lines are just plain bullshit. They should've stuck to the "I like you but I don't like you enough" line. Haha
I'm scheduled to have my interview with the Australian embassy tomorrow and I'm kinda nervous about it. I applied there for a job and I really hope I get the position. I'm still waitin for a call from EON and the whole waiting process is really takin its toll on my nerves. I can't stand not knowin if I get in or not, I think my left index fingernail is gonna be all bitten off VERY soon. Oh well I'll just cross my fingers and just hope for the best.
I have been readin back on my blogs and I noticed that it has a very lazy air to it. Hehe I type whatever comes to my mind, unstructured, without any corrections whatsoever, usin words i normally use when textin, like now! I'm just so used to typin like this. But I know that I won't be like this when writin an office paper. The "writin" without the g.. haha textin is REALLY harmful.. but I love it.Ü
The phone here in the office is still broken. Dang PLDT is takin so long to come and repair it. And it's followed-up by our secretary a number of times a day na ha! The government really should do somethin about the service quality here in the Philippines. Kaya ndi umuunlad ang Pilipinas e..
What are the seven wonders of the world?
A little girl once gave all the answers - to see, to speak, to hear, to taste, to feel, to laugh, and to love.
True true... Sometimes I get so caught up in the material world that I forget the blessings God has given me. I complain that my clothes don't fit right, my shoes are this , my pants are that, I gotta have a new cellphone, I want an Ipod, etc. that I neglect to be thankful for the miracles God has worked my way. I am so blessed that I can speak, hear, see, and feel. It makes life worth livin, to be able to experience life full on. Kelangan ko na lang vitamins! hahahaha Ü

"Lao Su Ai Da Mi".
Mouse Loves Grain in English.
I fitst heard this song in Beijing while in the car with Val on the way to fetch her dad from the airport. It sounded like something out of a nursery rhyme and I thought it was a jologs song. The message was sweet though..
"I love you like a mouse loves grain. No matter how many wind and rain, I will always accompany you. I think of you no matter how many hardship. If only to let you be happy, I will agree to anything, that's how much I love you."
Or sumthin like that. It's just a rough translation ey. :p
The more I hear this song (it was everywhere!), the more I start to like it. I soon associated it with almost everything in China:
Val, Ailyn, and Jac
· The kulitans, the wacky poses, long walks, lamong days, parating nauudlot na gimik, making fun of certain people, the singsong tone we use in all sentences courtesy of Glenn, Mei Rong, Wang Fu Jin (bugs, starfish, balls, and penis anyone?), and our ever so "beautiful" and "exclusive" dorm which grew on us over time.
B25
· Wendy, Martin, Eddie, Danny, Roberta, Sara, Carol, Shania, Madelein, Max, Francine, Iris, and Tiff
· Out of hte fourteen people who often goes to class (uh-huh..), there are only five of us who have Asian blood. The rest are from the United States, France, Italy, Sweden, Germany and Mauritius.
· I don't think we have ever gone out with everybody present, but the times I have spent with them are worth treasuring. Ice skating, tomato, hou hai anyone? Ü
Wendy, Eddie, and Martin
· They are the ones I hang out with the most from our class. They are such sweeties that I regret not spending time with them since Day 1. Thanks for the Hou Hai, Sanlitun, Hidden Tree, Pearl Market, etc. memories. Ü Oh, and my 2nd out-of-this-world-tiring Great Wall experience!!
Back to the song, I knew that it would be a song that would remind me of everything that has happened in China so I got the wav true tone and uploaded it in my phone. Now whenever I hear it, a bittersweet feeling of nostalgia would come over me. Though some part of me feels sad, a big part of me welcomes the feeling coz it reminds me of the good and special times during my 3-month stay in Beijing.
I really, really miss my China life. I wish that I could have stopped time the day before Eddie was supposed to go back home and just leave it at that. But I can't, and I'm also glad to be back home where my friends and those special to me are. But given the chance to go again, I would only do so if the people I'm gonna be with are exactly the same people I had so much fun with.
I'm kinda sad coz, after all the promises of keepin in touch, everyone seems to be livin their own lives now and have left whatever they had in China behind.
Oh well, life goes on, I never really expected anyone to keep in touch. I may sound like a bitter, selfish child but I understand. I really do. Cheers to your guys wherever you are. Ü
